Soft enamel and baking varnish are the most common color filling process for metal medals. Recessed areas will be filled with liquid colors by using a tiny needle, and are surrounded by raised metal. The color areas are lower than the metal parts. So its surface is not flat, you can clearly see and feel recesses and raise.
Epoxy Dome Printed Medals
When your design is too complicated with many fine details or with gradient colors, we will print your design on the medal.
The epoxy dome usually uses to cover the print on the medal or cover the soft enamel color on the medal to protect the colors and make its surface feel soft and smooth.
How to custom medals?
1. Send your logo design or product design to us in Cdr, Ai, Pdf, Psd, or Jpg format. If do not have them yet, don’t worry, share your ideas with us then we design together.
2. If your design includes all the detailed requirements, we will quote you immediately. If your design is not in detail, we will according to your design recommend suitable material, size, and color processing way to you together with a quote. Then you make decisions.
3. After you confirm the price and processing way, we will start the order and provide a sample if you need it. After you confirm the sample we will finish the mass production within 3-20 days depending on the different situations.

1. How much does it cost for custom medals?
Your cost=Mold cost+Unit cost*Quantity+Shipping cost
For different designs, the mold cost could be a huge difference. Normally mold costs $50-$300. For our existing blank medal, no need to pay mold cost. Unit price is related to the quantity and processing ways. Usually $0.5-$3/pc. Please send your design to us to get an accurate price.
4. How long will you keep my mold?
We will keep your mold for two years. If you reorder within 2 years, we can quickly produce them with no mold fee added.
7. How long it takes to open the mold?
Usually, 3-7 days depending on your design.
2. What is the minimum quantity for customized medals?
Different designs require different MOQs. Usually, MOQ is 50pcs or 100pcs. For our existing blank medals there is no quantity limit.

8. How thick my customized medals can be?
You can decide the thickness according to your design. Most of the medals’ thickness is 2mm-5mm. Usually, the thicker medal the higher price.
